1995 Parker Fly Deluxe Metallic Galaxy Grey

Up for sale, here’s a rare and collectible 1995 Parker Fly Deluxe in Metallic Galaxy Grey. Made in USA, early production days int he mid ’90s, in Very Good condition with its Original Parker soft case.

If you’re watching this, you probably know all about the many well known artist have played these guitars and how desirable are now that they’ve been discontinued. Its revolutionary, distinctive design and construction with its unique features makes it so special.

The guitar is all original and everything is stock on this instrument. The Fly Deluxe comes with two custom designed DiMarzio hum bucker pickups, piezo pickup with preamp and dual output (you can split both acoustic and electric outputs using a “Y” Stereo 1/4″ TRS Plug to two 1/4″ Mono plus if you want, or just blend them in standard mono output. All electronics works perfectly fine as it should. the Fly deluxe comes with tremolo bridge, however the tremolo arm is missing you can get one separately.

The glue-in neck is made of basswood, the body is poplar, something you can find in all Fly Deluxe. Both were “baked” together under vacuum, heat and pressure with the carbon/glass fibre that give them strength and stability fro the outside. The condition of the neck is incredible, unlike on many Parker Flys, the frets have really almost no play wear at all, and the iconic shape headstock is comedically clean for its age.

Weight is 5.6 Lbs which is very lightweight and it’s a common feature due its slim design.

It has the typical modern “C” Profile with 1.67″ nut width (Neck thickness at 1st fret is .800″ and at 12th fret is .850″. The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works perfect as expected) and without any fret issues at all, currently professionally set with low action. It really plays amazingly well.

This one in particular is one of those rare to find because of the color, weight and balance. Cosmetically, there’re only one spot over the top body by the bridge where just the lacquer has started to crack due to moisture or weather conditions (see photo #13), however there’s clear evidence of no cracks whatsoever in the wood (see photo #14 where you can see underneath the tremolo spring). This is just superficially and it does not compromise the playability, also barely noticeable . It’s taken into consideration and reflected on the price because the rest of the guitar really tells you this guitar has been barely played really and the rest of it seems pretty clean without dings nor scratches and in 100% fully functional condition.
